The Greene Turtle sports bar can be found at the Towne Center at the villages of five points in Lewes. The Greene Turtle has been around in Ocean City, Maryland for years and has recently moved up to Lewes and soon enough Rehoboth Beach. Greene Turtle epitomizes the name of sports bar. With small 15’’ televisions at each table and even more around the bar you will never miss any action during the game.
The food at the Greene Turtle in Lewes is your typical bar food, but is not typical when it comes to the taste. With a wide variety of personal pizzas, a slew of different burgers and a plethora of chicken choices you will always find what you want to eat at the Greene Turtle.
One of the most memorable things about the Greene Turtle is the Mug Club. When a new location opens there are about 200 bar mugs available for purchase. If you are lucky enough to purchase a mug at the opening of a new Greene Turtle, then every time you visit and use your mug your drink is at reduced price. The Greene Turtle in Lewes Mug Club is already filled up, and this author is not sure about the one in Rehoboth Beach.
If you want to catch all the action of a sports game, have some great food, and enjoy a fun atmosphere head to the Greene Turtle in Lewes or Rehoboth Beach. The Greene Turtle in Lewes can be found right down the road from Capstone Homes’ Holland Mills in the Villages of Five Points
For Immediate Release:
Capstone Homes is pleased to announce that December 2009 sales were the highest for any December since Capstone was founded in early 2006.
“People just kept coming in the door,” says Scott Dailey, managing partner for Capstone Homes. “We think we have found the market- good value, great floorplans, good locations.” Says Dailey.
Capstone Homes has become one of the largest local builders in the Delaware new homes market. Capstone builds in four principal communities: Cannery Village, Holland Mills, Estates at Carriage Springs, and Pemberton. Capstone Homes features Energy Star homes with a great variety of different floorplans.
“Sales in both Holland Mills and Cannery Village have been much stronger this fall than we had anticipated”, said Dailey. Holland Mills has benefitted from the first time homebuyer tax credit, and Cannery Village has remained strong in sales despite Capstone having to compete with a national homebuilder.
“We are a very small company compared to other builders- especially publically traded companies,” says Dailey. He said that Capstone is aided by the fact that it has much lower overhead than larger builders. Although Capstone is a private company, Dailey says that his unit volume has more than doubled in 2009 over 2009. The increase in sales is a direct result of the opening of the Holland Mills community, and Capstone Homes has worked very hard on new models to keep its product offering fresh.
Capstone Homes benefits from the desirability of new Delaware Beach Homes and the low-tax, coastal living of Sussex County, Delaware. A Delaware Retirement is something that appeals to many who currently live in higher tax states in the mid-Atlantic and Northeast, says Dailey.
Kiplinger’s magazine consistently ranks Delaware as one of the most retirement friendly states due to its low taxes and low cost of living. Dailey also says that the Delaware Beaches are very desirable for coastal living. “As the beach areas have grown, the area has become a twelve month desitination.” The fall at the Delaware Beaches brings many varied weekend activities- The Rehoboth Autumn Jazz Festival, The Rehoboth Beach Film Festival, The Sea Witch Festival, and Punkin’ Chunkin’ all provide weekend activities throughout the fall season.
Capstone builds in a number of desirable communities in the coastal Delaware region. Holland Mills, a new home community at the Delaware beaches located between Milton, Delaware and Lewes, Delaware, features single family homes on lots that average one quarter acre. Holland Mills features a tremendous amount of open space, federally protected wetlands, and wonderful natural views. Holland Mills features a pool and clubhouse that are completed, and Holland Mills will feature 136 homesites when completed. Capstone began building homes in March 2009. Capstone builds seven different floorplans that start in the high $180’s. Cannery Village in Milton is one of the most distinctive communities at the Delaware Beaches. Cannery Village features a “Traditional Neighborhood Design” which features smaller lots and alley-loaded garages. Cannery Village also features a dramatic new community center, which, upon completion, will feature an indoor pool, conference facilities, and an exercise center. Capstone features twin homes that start in the mid-$160’s and single family homes that begin in the high $190’s. Pemberton, located outside Milton, features estate sized, wooded lots that are all three quarters of an acre or larger. Pemberton is a gated community with a dramatic entrance feature. Capstone builds energy-star rated single family homes from the $230’s in Pemberton. The Estates at Carriage Springs is a small enclave of large lots located between Milton and Georgetown. Capstone has wooded lots as large as almost three acres in the Estates at Carriage Springs. Lot home packages start in the $230’s from Capstone Homes in the Estates at Carriage Springs.
