Just some of the things that are new at Capstone Homes:

First, we’re very excited to be building homes in Holland Mills!  We have had some very patient people who have been waiting for us to build their homes, and we’re very happy to report that the end of their wait is in site!  We have one foundation coming out of the ground, and we will be starting at least one house per week to work through our backlog of homes!

Second, Capstone has gone green.  That literally meant that we changed the color of our logo last summer from blue to green, but it’s more than that.  At Capstone, we are beginning to take environmentally friendly building very seriously- we believe that we are charged to be responsible to act responsibly in how we treat the earth.  How?  The largest thing we can do is work to make our homes more energy efficient.  We are doing that by offering green products such as Energy Star certified products- standard in all Capstone Homes are Energy Star qualified HVAC systems, Energy Star qualified windows, and even complete Energy Star certification for new homes.

Capstone Homes is also proud to offer geothermal heating and air conditions systems.  These systems use the steady temperature of the earth to heat and cool a home.  The energy savings with geothermal systems can be amazing, and there are currently cash rebates for purchasers because the local power companies will give you money if you purchase a Capstone Home with geothermal.

Currently geothermal is “free” (more about free builder incentives in a future post) for new home purchases from Capstone.
